Don Cahall is an Associate Attorney at Moran, Sanchy & Associates where he concentrates his practice in the areas of small business litigation, contract and business law, intentional tort litigation, consumer fraud litigation and general civil litigation (foreclosure defense, bankruptcy, home owners association litigation, insurance litigation and family law). Mr. Cahall’s extensive experience in the banking and business fields enhance his ability to provide knowledgeable advice and meticulous representation to businesses and individuals.
Prior to entering law school, Mr. Cahall earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Business Administration from the University of Florida, and also completed studies in Finance and International Business at Uppsala Universitet in Sweden. He then spent several years in the banking industry, working for several banks in Tampa and St. Petersburg as a Senior Account Executive, Credit Analyst, Special Assets Underwriter and Portfolio Manager.
Mr. Cahall later entered law school at Stetson University College of Law in Gulfport. While in law school, he served as a Judicial Intern for the Honorable Judge David Demers in the Florida Sixth Judicial Circuit and the Honorable Judge Michael G. Williamson in the US Bankruptcy Court for the Middle District of Florida. Prior to joining Moran, Sanchy & Associates in Sarasota, Mr. Cahall served as a Law Clerk and Attorney at various law firms in Tampa and St. Petersburg, where he gained experience in bankruptcy and foreclosure law as well as personal injury and property law.
Don is married to Assistant State Attorney Casey Cahall and they recently became the proud parents of their daughter Caroline Cahall. During his free time, Don enjoys fishing, surfing, watching college sports and taking his American Eskimo dog for runs.
